(Better grab a spare set of underwear)
Holy crap where to begin.. The game play, the characters, the music, the resolution -- it's all so good!
That is... IF you manage to control your bowels.
Buckle up kiddies, the way is filled with horror and psychological terrors that come out at night
~And it is always dark

Before we continue, click THIS and keep it in the background -- it should put you in the right mood.
You start the game off playing 19 year old Simon Henriksson who wakes up in an unknown place shortly after being hit by a car.
Where are you? What happened? WHAT IS GOING ON?! Guess the only way to find out is to continue through the town, but know this...
...You are never alone.
Monsters.
Silhouettes.
Abominations.
They are always lurking about
You know that feeling of discomfort? Almost like you know something bad is going to happen? Imagine that, but all the time. You constantly twist and turn as if to somehow get a 360 degree view of your surroundings, but to no avail. And suddenly...
DIE! DIE! DIE!
As you finish the monster off, you can feel your heart pound in your chest, and the adrenaline rush throughout your body -- and then of course you realize that you just screamed like a little girl.
You would think you get used to it, but it never fails to happen every time. Different monsters in the game do different things, in unique surroundings. This provides the player with a feeling of unknown and yet impending scares.

In all seriousness, if you like playing scary games, this is definitely your best bet. If you like watching scary movies, pop a seat next to the player and enjoy, it's just about as good as a scary movie.
As a bonus, the game is completely free on Steam (click that to download steam first, then search for the game in the search bar of steam)
Oh! And be sure to record the experience, you're gonna wanna watch and laugh at yourselves later.
Look behind you...

I have never heard of or played this game, but after reading this post, I might have to! It sounds like something I'd honestly be interested in! Thanks for sharing!!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds interesting! I love being scared. I'm going to have to look into this!
ReplyDeleteI love these kind of games that are made to scare the living crap out of people, I have never played this game but it seems kind of like slender. I liked the way you used the music to add that scary feeling while reading the blog.
